If you’ve let your healthy habits slide during the summer holidays, do not fear, our Start Over September Challenge will give your motivation a much-needed boost!
Over five weeks (from 2 September to 6 October), you’ll be challenged to complete weekly physical activity and nutrition-based tasks which build up over time to support you to get back on track.
Weeks 2, 3 and 4 provide different options to choose from so you can tailor the challenge to your own weight loss goals.
How it works
To take part, simply collect an activity card and gold stars from a Drop-in during w/c 26 August or w/c 2 September. You can find a list of Drop-ins on our client activity programme in the resources section.
If you achieve the minimum number of stars (one for each task), you’ll receive a Livewell medal and if you complete all the activities, you’ll get a bonus prize. What’s not to love?!
It’s a great opportunity to reset and reignite your goal setting and you’re never too old for a gold star!
Week 1 – 2-8 September
Collect your card/gold stars from a Drop-in and get weighed
Week 2 – 9-15 September
Exercise – Complete 1 from the options below:
Walk 1 mile
Complete a Livewell walk (find details in our resources section)
Complete a 20-minute cardio session (find home workouts on our YouTube channel)
Nutrition – Complete 1 from the options below:
Drink 2 litres of water each day
Have an extra portion of fruit on at least 2 days
Week 3 – 16-22 September
Exercise – Complete 2 from the options below:
Complete a Livewell class (find a list in the client activity programme in the resources section.)
Complete a leisure centre class
Complete 1 x 30 minute home workout (find home workouts on our YouTube channel)
Comment on Yasmin’s Monday evening Facebook Group post

Nutrition – Complete 2 from the options below:
Have 1 meat-free day
Have 2 extra portions of veg on at least 3 days
Swap fizzy full sugar drinks for water or squash on at least 5 days
Week 4 – 23-29 September

Complete a Livewell class
Complete a leisure centre class
Complete 1 gym session
Complete 1 Livewell walk

Attend a Drop-in to get weighed (hopefully see a loss) and receive your prize(s)!
