Experience
Having set up my own sport massage business in 2016 I was astonished by how many clients needed help to alleviate pain from medical conditions and for health reasons. Helping improve people’s health and wellbeing, both physically and mentally, felt so rewarding so when COVID hit and I was unable to work I completed a Masters degree in Health Psychology at the University of Derby. After graduating I wanted to pursue my career further down the health and wellbeing route and working at Livewell was the perfect next step in my career.
Job Role
As a Livewell advisor I will be helping people to adopt a healthy lifestyle, whether that be through weight loss, engaging in more physical activity or stopping smoking. I am excited to bring along my educational knowledge and sporting experiences I have gained so far to help people achieve their goals.

Vegetable fajitas and nachos (minus the jalapenos!)
My Passions/Interests
Anything outdoors – I am always exploring and going on adventures, you will usually find me in the Peak District somewhere in my spare time! I love cycling, fell running, walking and yoga. When I need to recharge and sit down for a bit I enjoy reading or getting creative. I like to bake too which is well deserved after a day out in the Peaks.
My Best Achievement
Representing Team England at the Commonwealth Games in 2014 and coming away with two medals: bronze and silver. I was a lightweight rower and raced in the female mixed weight quad event finishing in 3rd place and then the female lightweight double scull event just marginally missing out on gold which Canada took.
What you might be surprised to hear about me
After only 8 weeks of rowing, I competed at the National Indoor Rowing Championships and managed to podium standing alongside current Team GB members – the start of my rowing career!
My Top Lifestyle Tips
Don’t feel bad and beat yourself up for having treats! This will only make your lifestyle change journey more difficult. In moderation, treats are allowed and you are allowed to enjoy them! Stay on track, keep active and enjoy your newfound energy.
